Patchwork Farm is the place where my dream came true

Sherri Wood, Owner & FarmHer

Building a Dream

At Capay Valley Lavender, you’ll find Patchwork Farm, 28 acres of flourishing lavender fields, herbs, figs, pomegranates and beans. The farm is the realization of Sherri Wood’s lifelong dream, planted during childhood, and brought to life in 2017.

Farm Fresh to You

Depending on the cultivar, Patchwork Farm’s lavender may be used to add lavender’s unique, subtle flavoring to foods and beverages. Our fragrance-based cultivars, such as Grosso and Super, find their way into essential oils and other products designed to support health or to simply soothe and refresh the skin.

Lavender is the most commonly used essential oil. Organic essential oils are steam-distilled from plants that have been grown under the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) standard of organic farming. That means that NO toxic and persistent pesticides were used during the plant’s lifespan.

Our Home in Yolo County

“Patchwork Farm is the place where my dream came true. I invite you to visit, draw in a breath of fresh country air, and, just maybe, find inspiration for a little dream of your own.”

-Sherri Wood, Owner & FarmHer

As Capay Valley Lavender continues to grow, The Food Front’s mission to highlight Woodland, the Capay Valley, and the rest of Yolo County will grow with it.
