Our Balance It® platform offers free, veterinarian-developed custom homemade pet food recipes along with precisely formulated supplements that ensure complete and balanced nutrition. Additionally, we support veterinary professionals with advanced tools and expertise to address complex nutritional cases, from managing chronic diseases to optimizing wellness protocols.

Since relocating here from another Yolo County location in 2018, we have been impressed by the professionalism of city staff and the warmth of our neighbors and fellow business owners. DVM Consulting, Inc. has been advancing pet nutrition for over twenty years through its Balance It® brand and the innovative vetnutritionist.AI platform. As a California Benefit Corporation, the company serves thousands of humans with dogs and cats and veterinary professionals daily with nutritional products and specialized software. Its Woodland facility achieved a significant milestone as the first in California to receive a Processed Food Registration for producing human food-grade supplements for animals. DVM Consulting holds distinguished third-party certifications including veterinary nutrition board certification, B Corporation status, and GRMA human dietary supplement manufacturing certification.
