The Food Front is the City of Woodland, California’s effort to unite the community and local companies in the shared goal of responsible and innovative food and agriculture for our region and the world.
The expansion brings the overall facility from 4,825 to 13,000 sq. ft and adds additional lab space, office space, an AgStart Event Center, more co-working space, and a tissue culture lab and fermentation lab.
Woodland’s ideal climate, rich soil, and reliable water supply support a wide variety of crops that sustain a diverse portfolio of businesses. The Food Front is home to all facets of the food system from local farms and food processors to seed research and ag technology companies. As this diverse and collaborative community grows, our food and agriculture industry thrives.
